Offering Promotions and Sales

Nothing seems to attract customers faster than special promotions and sales.  Let’s face it everyone let’s a good bargain.  In times when the economy is not at its best people are less likely to spend money.  You can encourage moderate spending by offering your customers and offer they cannot turn down.

I personally like to create deals that I can offer around Holidays.  This can be any Holiday of the year, not just Christmas and those holidays for which people spend the most money.  Seasonal sales are also a good way to try to bring in more business during times of the year when you sometimes seem a slump in business.  Offer weekend sales as well to attract clients who do not get a chance to surf for products and services until the weekend.

I also like to offer sales during the week.  I try to find the days when my website seems to have the least traffic.  I offer great buy in the hopes that even if I have less visitors, I can turn more visitors into paying customers.

Use your creativity when designing a sales or promotional package.  You can offer two products or services for the price of one.  Offer something for free with each purchase.  Give a percentage off or a few dollars off for every purchase.  Use your creativity to turn deals into sales.
