Well my boss does not give me vacation time.  I guess that is because I work for myself.  Being self employed can make it difficult to take time off of work.  When I don’t work, I don’t get paid.  So how do I take some vacation time?  Well I am thining that one way to do this is for me to take on an extra project.  It won’t be easy fitting that in with the kids, however, that will give me some extra money.  If I complete a project big enough to cover a few days worth of income than I can take a few days off of work.

 Another option is for me to do some freelance jobs here and there in between my other clients.  I could put aside the money from those jobs until I have enough saved up to cover a few days worth of pay.  In that case I could slowly work on saving up to take a vacation without having to put in too many extra hours all at one time which is a better option with having the little one’s at home.
